Passionate about healthy eating and weight loss

With so many conflicting messages on nutrition and health in the media, it can be hard to know what advice to follow. I’m passionate about supporting individuals and providing them with the knowledge and skills to make realistic changes to their diet and lifestyle, to help them be their healthiest self!

I became a dietitian to help cut through the fad diet non-sense and to educate individuals on how to make healthy long-term diet and lifestyle changes. I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics. During my university work placement, I realised I wanted to work in private practice so I could form relationships with my clients and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them achieve their health goals. This brings joy to both myself and my clients, by allowing them to take ownership of their health and make positive changes to their diet.

As a child, I fondly remember obsessing over the health and nutrition section of the Reader’s Digest magazine every month, and exclaiming to my family how specific foods contribute to our overall diet and health. As the years went on, I loved watching cooking tv shows and this inspired my interest in experimenting with different cuisines and creating a healthy spin on recipes at home!

In the last years of high school, I developed an interest in the human body and I became more curious about how food and the body work together. This sparked a desire to investigate whether I could incorporate both my passion about nutrition and health as a career, and to my delight, being dietitian was a perfect match for this!

My consultations are based on a non-diet and non-judgemental approach, and I understand health should be viewed holistically. This includes not only looking at your diet, but other factors such as stress management, sleep quality, physical activity (hopefully that you actually enjoy!) and self-care. Every person is different and I endeavour to personalise my consultations to ensure I am providing the best care for my client.

Stephanie is experienced with, and particularly interested in helping clients with:

  • Weight management (non-diet approach)
  • Healthy eating
  • Bariatric surgery
