Fees & Packages

Consultation prices vary for each dietitian, according to their level of experience and level of complexity of your health issue. Please enquire about fees with our reception staff, or see prices during the booking process with our online booking system.

We offer discounts for pensioners, full-time students and concession card holders. Please provide appropriate documentation to your dietitian during your consult.

Health Fund rebates

Our dietitians are recognised by all private health funds. If you have extras cover with your health fund you may be able to claim a rebate for your consultation cost, depending on your level of cover. Check with your fund if you are covered, and how much you may get back.

We can process on-the-spot health fund rebates for many funds so you only need to pay the difference! Click here to see if your health fund participates in electronic on-the-spot health claims.

Rebates are available from Medicare for patients with an EPC referral form. Medicare provides support for people with certain long-term health conditions. Learn whether you may be eligible here.

You will need to pay your consultation fee at the time of your appointment. In most cases we will process your Medicare rebate directly into the bank account you have linked with Medicare or provide you with a receipt for you to claim via the Medicare app, online or at a Medicare branch.

Please note Newtown Nutrition dietitians do not bulk-bill.

The Medicare rebate is currently $53.80 per consultation for up to 5 consultations in a calendar year.

We believe having the right support to help you get from where you are now, to where you want to be is really important for long-term diet and lifestyle changes. We offer packages of multiple consultations for a discounted price, as well as packages which are focused to particular issues which may include some extra products that are important for you to get the best out of your journey.
